About
The Beginning:
Born October 1, 2009, Paegan began to go to Slinger Speedway with her family where she quickly became a fan of racing and the Legendary Wisconsin Short Track Hall of Famer, The "World's Oldest Teenager" Jerry Eckhardt. Through her years of watching racing, at the age of 6 she decided that one day she wanted to be a race car driver like Jerry. Upon discovering Kart racing as an option one day that year Paegan attended a clinic at Road America for kids new to Karting, and she absolutely fell in love with it and started racing herself the following year, with Jerry's permission to have her kart look like his car.
Well after a few years in Karting, Paegan has chosen a different path to go in racing. She figured that she learned enough in karts and decided it was time for her to take the next step in racing. With just a few weeks left in the season, Paegan's dad kept a big secret from her...he purchased a Bandolero for her. She had a great time testing it and then was told it was hers...She has run 3 races at Jefferson and 1 at Slinger. She did very well.
She did have a nice conversation with Jerry and he gave her the permission to have her car look like his....
So looking forward to the 2021 season for the Bandolero to be the Orange #61.
She will be racing at Jefferson (home track) and Slinger. She is very excited for the racing season to start.
